This is my first question so go easy on me please :)

Basically I am looking for a tent that I can keep for a few years so have decided to go for a Polycotton one and having not put a tent up myself an air one. Was looking at the Kampa Brean 4 Air but now looking at the Vango Solace TC 400 instead. However I have noticed that the from piece would be too big for the pitch that I have (3m x 4m) (thinking of upgrading to a 4m by 4m pitch for the extra width). Soo my question is could I take off the front part of the tent to leave just the living room and bedroom? or is this not possible on this tent?

The sun canopy is part of the tent. Those pitch sizes are tiny, I take it it's a backpacking site and not a normal campsite.
