My husband and I plus our 3yr old wee girl are looking for a tent. Looking for something decent that is going to last us a while for camping long weekends, summer holiday for week and occasional jaunts to Europe for a week or two summer holiday. Fancy good living space incase of bad weather. The Montana 6 or Denver are current favourites but we are a bit worried that they are too big. How long/easy to pitch? Will they fit in standard pitch in Europe? Are these best or should we try others?
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
We have fitted our royal pescara 8 onto a standard 100m2 pitch in France with room to spare for tarp and car so it should be no problem for the Montana or the Denver. I wouldn't fancy them as a weekend tent though. Great for two weeks in France but a pain for a long weekend with a three year old. We found the Pescara a bit much for long weekends and we had teenage daughters to help and we all knew our jobs. That is why we have a little tent collection for different trips.
