May I ask if anyone has corresponded with this company of late, or submitted a review to the website?
Many thanks

Blacks of Greenock is part of the bigger AMG group which includes Vango products.
Are you having difficulty contacting them or just want to know what their products are like.

They do have a website with contact details, customer service etc.

Thank you.

Yes,all of the above,I know, and indeed have over the year or so spoken to the company and written to them. Indeed I have a Solace bell tent (see reviews); I was just trying to find out about anyone's experience communicating with the company. If indeed anyone DOES have such experiences!

Thank you for your response.

I dealt with Blacks very recently Caligula..I was trying to order poles on-line but had to speak on the phone to claim a price match.I spoke to customer care on 0161 3937059. This office is in Bury.I thought they were the same company? I found them great to deal with and very good service. I am a little confused now--will have to investigate!

Not directly but I was helping out with my sons school this year at the Ten Tors Challenge on Dartmoor , they needed parts for a mess tent on the Thursday and the bits were delivered overnight.

Considering the the communication was taking place in a field next to the army camp I would say the communication was excellent.

Excellent, good stuff.

Thank you both, although intrigued why BRYANMITCH is confused? The phone no? Admittedly couldn't find mention of that one, customer care/after sales is 014....

Which Army camp, you should have asked at the guardroom, they would have helped.
Especially if you mean 42 Commando Royal Marines at Bickleigh, unless of course you did ask and called them Army

That would be Okehampton camp , where the event is held and no it's not 42 Commando , I believe it's the 1st Artillery Brigade

Didn't need to ask at the guardroom and we had mobiles and 4g reception but I guess with circa 4000 people attending they might of been busy

Ah Okehampton Training camp, forgot about that place.
Not a permanent camp, so 1 Artillery Bde where the hosts of the Ten Tors, would still have sorted you out with what you needed though.
Bleak and dismal camp that is. Hope the Ten Tors went well for you.
