Hi,
we had Outwell Monterey 5 from year 2012. We were happy with it, but now we want do step up to 6 berth, air and polycotton tent.
We are thinking about:
1) Outwell Montana 6SATC 2016
2) Vango Illusion TC 800XL Air 2017
3) Kampa Croyde 6 Classic Air 2017
When we bought Outwell Monterey 5 in 2012, Outwell family tents were top choice in family tent. Is it same now for air and polycotton tents? I know Karsten is other class, but it is over our budget.
I could buy all 3 variants (Outwell Montana 6SATC 2016, Vango Illusion TC 800XL Air 2017 and Kampa Croyde 6 Classic Air 2017) in very similar price, so price is not argument.
We were satisfied with Outwell Monterey 5 and we like Outwell's Smart Air technology - inflating whole tent from one point, so Outwell Montana 6SATC 2016 were our first choice, but I read here, that Smart Air technology is over complicated and there is too many points where it could leak.
So, I have these questions:
1) Outwell Smart Air technology - is it good in real usage or is it problematic technology?
2) What are changes between current Outwell Montana 6SATC 2017 and last year's Outwell Montana 6SATC 2016?
3) What are differencies between these three tents in Air technology, polycotton material and whole quality?
Thank you very much for your help.
Peter
