I am so sorry if this thread exists somewhere but doing a search on "stand up" didn't yield anything and there's a lot of info on this board.
Simply put, due to personal mobility issues I need to buy a decent tent which has at least one covered area in it which I can stand up full height in (I'm 172cm). It would also need an entrance which I wouldn't have to crawl to get through (though stooping is fine).
Goes without saying that it needs to be decent enough quality to withstand a downpour over the course of a long weekend.
Everything available with standing areas are at least 4-man and generally upwards of that which prices me out of the market except for second hand options. Therefore I need to scour places like Gumtree, eBay, Freecycle, and suchlike - which is proving difficult and very long-winded without specific tent brands/models to search for.
Any recommendations would be very gratefully received!

Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
Would a Wild Country Zephyros 3 do the job? I'm not sure how tall the door is or how much living area you're wanting but they're reasonably priced, pack down small/light and you can stand up in them.

Thanks Sean - a quick look on Gumtree and Preloved yielded none, and the cheapest on eBay was £247.99 - but yes, you're quite right, that style would be perfect for a single traveler!

I bought an Outwell Indian Lake second hand for about £250.
We love it .It's really tall as it is a tipi . Very easy to put up.
😀
I probably should have mentioned my budget is £40-50, which is why I'm camped out on at least 7 auctions currently in the hope one or two don't get much attention!
