Last year we bought the Vango Ravello Airbeam tent. Love the tent, so easy to pitch and take down. We've added the awning specifically for the Ravello/Monaco to give some extra space.
The Awning didn't come with any pitching instructions but we managed to get it pitched reasonably well on our first outing with it. However, I'm not sure how to secure the top guy lines. The seam angle's seem to suggest the lines should run over the length of the tent pegging at the rear, but they aren't long enough - and would probably compress the tent making it sag.
I hacked a solution by running the guy lines to the tents guyline attachment points on the rear poles and tied them. Not ideal but it mostly worked.
I'd be grateful if anyone could advise how these lines should be used to keep the awning up and attached to the tent?
A rough sketch showing the guylines I mean ...
Cheers.

Hi,
I have the Ravello too and saw that the awning was for sale but also could not figure out how it would be pitched with the main tent, did you ever get a proper solution?
Thanks
