I had some problems with the 7SA 2017 model last year, one had an airbeam that wasn�t sealed so that tent went back. The next one went up and was fine for 2 weeks in very hot weather in France but it had a water leak in rain so that one went back too! The retailer has been great and Outwell have repacked without quibble both times.
We have now got a 7SA 2018 model which we have test pitched once but not yet camped in fully. The tent has changed a bit for 2018, the obvious bits are some new stitching on the doors, different Velcro panels to seal the zips on the door, different pump, there are enough changes to know it is not an identical product. I don�t know what internal changes there might be to the beams.
The thing that kept me with Outwell this time is that they have increased the warranty from 1 year to 2 years for the new range, so they must be confident that the issues are solved to make that move. If there haven’t been any changes then at least there is longer protection against failure with the longer warranty, I would hope in any case that most problems would be obvious after a couple of weeks camping.

Hiya, we use a Air Beam, from Berghause its really good. Ours is a Air 4, to small for you so have a look at a Air 6 or 8, we think best beam tent on the market after much research.

If they have given you the 2 year warranty then I honestly wouldn’t worry about it.
One thing that hasn’t changed is the person that did the QC on the product, there is a little stamp on the label in one of the bedroom pods; it was someone called Han on my faulty tent last year and it shows the same name on the new 2018 tent!

😀😀 that is amusing that Outwell have said no change because there definitely are some differences! I would have hoped that they noticed what the factory has shipped out!!
