All I did was pull the centre guy of the tarp around the tent pole and pegged it off to one side.

Last little update.
No issues after the rain...apart from some mud on the side walls.
Even the tarp remained in position..

Hi TrickyTree, have you seen the quoted hydrostatic head as printed on the tent bag? No point asking SD, they'll just ask for a photo.?

I don't think there is one??
I thought that HH is normally only quoted for synthetic material.

And I will try and get the photos in the review section tomorrow.

Hi, its printed along with 4 little logos on the bottom of one side. I thought that too about HH, the groundsheet being specified at 5000mm.
See if you can find it...it may interest/amuse/concern??

Some piccies or your thoughts in a review would be great, I'll look forward to them....love the tarp idea

Found it!
Must be a mistake. I would imagine a carrier bag has a higher HH than that!
Besides, cotton is naturally waterproof and I had the thing up overnight on Saturday with quite a lot of rain and there was nothing inside.
Maybe I'll take some nikwax with me as a precaution 😀

I had the hose on mine and nothing came trough, when I was trying to weather it. Interestingly that figure corresponds with the minimum the MOD consider waterproof

Like yours, it's use is to be occasional, so I won't Fabsil it just yet!!

More seriously am very impressed for the money, and have added padding for the pole top too!

So....as asked.....

Well, I used it last Fri night, at the Hadleigh show, where I had been setting up a demonstration field for archery...
lovely sunny weather, but very cold at night, indeed a frost. Dry though.....

Tent went up in about 5 minutes, incredibly easy. Very roomy for one, comfortable for 2, able to have 3, but 4?

I was on my own!

I'm not sure the quality is quite that of the Robens Fairbanks, but it seems pretty well put together. It was a real joy to be able to quickly unzip the groundsheet, which you can't do on the Fairbanks, and leave 3 or 4 inches all the way round for a lovely breeze....

Going on a canoe camp with it this coming week...…..

For £179....very pleased so far?

Hello, I just bought the Navajo 6 and tried it out for 4 days in Wales. Very happy with quality for the price : your comments here reassured me as I could find no information about these tents. I have done a review but could not get any decent pics as we were on a very cramped festival site and it wasn't impossible to get a good angle on it. Will try for photos on our next trip!
