Hello all.
Can anyone recommend a small ( 3 person ish) tent that is high enough to sit in with a chair comfortably? i.e sit out a rainstorm for a day without developing sciatica.
At the moment I have a Vango Beta 350XL that I like, but am considering getting something smaller, or even an instant pitching job for ease of use. I normally go alone and the Vango is ok to pitch, but a bit sweaty to take down/pack away, and It feels a little overkill for just me, though I do like the porch space.
Plus I just love buying tents 😉
I've been looking at the Slumit Gobi III, and the Coleman Hub Drake 3, but does anyone else have any suggestions? I am interested in these two as they are basic domes, quick pitch in one way or another, have windows (love tent windows) , porch for gear and (I'm assuming) are high enough to use a folding chair in.
I have a Vango Banshee 200 for hiking, and the Beta 350 but am thinking something inbetween would be handy. Weight not an issue as will only be used for car camping.
Budget not massive but I can sell a kidney for the right tent at least once.
Thanks in advance 😊

This looks just the ticket actually. I just had a little look online. Ive seen a couple if different brands having the same design so might do a bit of shopping around and see whats what. Its heavy but that doesn't matter when going by car and I'm guessing the weight is due to the carpet..which I'd say is worth it. Thanks for that!
the carpet isn't heavy, the poles seem quite sturdy maybe that's why-the bedroom pod is attached so it pitches all in one, just put the 3 poles in, hold up and peg the 4 corners out-it's quick and easy. It stood up to wind and rain in Black Mountains last weekend
