Looking to buy a tent with a ZIG due to the problems I have with drying tents, I erect the 3m in the bathroom but the 4-5 m I am buggered. The range of ZIGs seem to be rare these days only bells, what is the reliability of the zips.

Can't fault the YKK zips on our ZiG, although they are super heavy duty, far more chunky than what I have seen on other brands.

Our outwell has a zig love it, not sure I would buy a tent with a ground sheet that doesn't zip in again!
Makes packing up and down much better more so if tent Wet on pack down as can separate them and bag the, up on there own!!

Our Biscaya had a ZIG, great if we remembered which way round it was the zip join was at the back if the tent, but we also put some coloured ribbon tied to the back of the tent to let us know where it was, and wrote back on the underside on the ground sheet, twice i think we went wrong before this trusted method lo

we also used a silicon spray to make it easier

On our zig the zips are colour coded .
Makes it so much easier.
