Hi,
Just bought a berghaus air 4 from millets, bargain price is £299 also 15% discount brings it down to 255 quid, when I ordered mine it was 20% discount so we had the footprint as well, scheduled for delivery today,
Chris
Ps no carpets anywhere, looks like we'll be using mats

READ BEFORE YOU EVEN CONSIDER BUYING FROM JD SPORTS/MILLETS!!!
On Monday I bought a Berghaus Air 4 tent. As I was desperate to get it ASAP I paid extra for the next day delivery. I did arrive the next day. I decided to test pitch it in my back garden and it turned out that one of the air beams doesn't hold the air. Simply the seal around the valve wasn't fitted in properly and that caused the beam to collapse.
I contacted customer service (after waiting for over 5 mins in the queue). Saskia advised me that I need to send the tent back and they will send it to a specialist to establish whether I should get a new tent or maybe the one I got can be fixed. This could take UP TO 14 days. I demanded to speak to a supervisor who conveniently wasn't available. However I was advised that, because I reported the fault the same day, I can send the tent back and as soon as they received it a new one will be send to me.
The next day DPD courier arrived to collect one parcel for Amazon, one for JD. For some reasons both stickers he had were addressed to Amazon Return Centre. Knowing that JD Sport booked the collection I wasn't suspicious at all believing they knew what to do.
I contacted the customer services to let them know that the tent is on its way to them and they can send out a new one.
It turned out the collection order was never generated and the DPD courier had no authorisation to collect the parcel (how did he have two stickers with two different tracking and reference numbers remains mystery)!!!
After being tossed between various people in Customer Service I'm still waiting to be taken seriously. Nobody knows what is happening, no supervisor is ever available to talk to. The promised call backs never happen and it looks like I'll be now waiting for weeks/ months on end to get my money back.
The only person who was extremely helpful- Jacob is not in the office (due to personal reasons ;) ) and nobody else seems to be arsed to do anything. I'm supposed to go camping on Sunday. Everything's been paid for so now I've lost £350 for the crappy tent and £250 I paid for holiday booking.
THANK YOU MILLETS/ JD SPORTS!
------------- In the beginning there was darkness.
Then I bought a tent.
I'm not destitute, I'm just poor.
Hi,
Sorry to hear of your problems, millets have been good so far. I ordered the tent online on saturday evening (bank holiday) but the bank initially rejected my card, after security phone call bank said ok but I would have to reorder. Phoned customer service to check initial order had not gone through and then the lady offered to do it on the phone and it was then she told me about the discount which I hadn't seen and saved me 60 quid. As it was bank holiday I had not received the despatch confirmation so emailed them andd they confirmed it was on its way, later i received an email giving me a time slot, I can't fault the service so far,
Chris
Hi,
Have managed to get a tent carpet from ULTIMATE OUTDOORS IN NOTTINGHAM they had 3 sizes eurocamp on the shelf, plus a good display of berghaus air erected so you can have a good look round. Place is easy to find with free parking outside,
Chris
Hi,
Pitched tent this afternoon, fairly straight forward, good quality all round, found we should have had the small carpet instead of the medium so will have to change it. All in all well satisfied. With a bit of luck will find a porch rather cheaper than the present price,
Chris
