Hi
I ahave a puzzling problem I am unable to solve at the moment and I am hoping someone might have an answer.
I am the proud owner of an Outwell Concorde M, which has been brilliant for the past 3 years.
However, this past weel I went camping and although the tent inflated up to a certain point (beyond the point where it made a McDonalds's sign)and I was able to pt it up, as hard as I pumped, it would not take any more air in, so the tubes, although, reasonably stiff, where nowhere near the hardness they would normally have attained.
THERE IS NO AIR LEAK. You know when there's a leak in an air tent, so that is not the answer.
Also, the pump pressure gauge won't move above ZERO. It goes up as I inflate, but then drops to zero again. I tried giveing the valve a jog by prodding it, thinking maybe it was stuck, but it made no difference.
I am thining the pump has gone wonky maybe and isn't outputting as much pressure so when the tube pressure is more than the pump it stops inflating.
Other than that, I'm totally at a loss.
The shop I bought the tent from is sending me a new pump free of charge, how nice is that? (All Weathers in Billericay BTW.)
I am hoping that is just the pump.
Has anyone had this issue and if so, what was the problem?
Thanks
Frank
