Hi, we have a gelert bala air5, recently one of the air beams exploded taking with it the outer sleeve, does anyone on here have any idea where we could buy a replacement air beam and sleeve?

Hello micky-v and welcome to the forum. Sorry you've joined under such trying circumstances. I've seen generic replacement tubes on eBay but have not tried them myself.
It is possible to repair beams if the damage isn't too extensive. Stormsure Tuff Tape or McNett's Tenacious Tape is good for the inner bladder.
For the structural sleeve, unzip it and close the split from the inside with a good quality duct tape - Duck Ultimate is ideal.
Zip the bladder back into the sleeve and wrap a couple of turns round the outside of the split. Now inflate the tube just enough to get its shape - 1 to 2 psi usually.
Wrap duct tape in one continuous spiral round the sleeve, completely covering the damaged length. It'll look a bit like this:
Check the other beams and wrap the inevitable weak points before they go bang.
My Concorde's been OK for 50 nights repaired like that, but I do keep an eye on it.
Gelert are owned by the same group as Sportsdirect so that is your only option.
For others this is a good reason to buy your camping kit from a camping store.
