You must have been reading my blog Bob
Vis-a-vis works better for me with having the dogs as there's no way I would want them sleeping in a bedroom right next to me, plus I use the bedroom they have for my loo and storage so the living area doesn't get cluttered up.
I might have had a quick look at your blog

Hi have you considered making an offer on it for the amount you think it's worth

Yes I have. I thought maybe emailing the seller and pointing out that the tent couldn't really be classed as new as it's been opened and put up, I have no idea of the weather conditions at the time it was put up or the conditions it's been stored in since, and offering £100 - to be honest I would feel a bit cheeky offering any less. What do you think?

To be honest I would put in a cheeky offer as they probably don't know what it's worth and might just want it gone. You can make 3 offers so you have nothing to lose. How long has it been listed for

Totally to the side of this topic, but the sleeping arrangement in that tent doesnt look comfortable due to what looks like really steeply pitched sides.
Have you seen one? I know I was very disappointed in my Snncamp bedroom in that whilst it claims 210cm thats only at floor level and it soon becomes nowhere near that.
It's similar in size to my most recent one. Height-wise, good head height in the living area is more important to me, bedrooms not so much as there's only me and it's not like I'll actually be standing up in there.

Well I think this is a bit cheeky. I've had an email from ebay to say that the seller has reduced the price of this by £10, making it now £120, so I just checked to see if there are any more watchers (so far I've been the only one) to find that the seller has now added on £20 postage - it was listed as free postage before. So that now makes it £10 more than the original listing! I was actually considering making an offer of £100 but I think I'll wait now and see what happens.

A lot of people don't really get how selling works, only 1 watcher and increase the total price is not the ideal thing to do

I would be tempted to walk away from that one. The seller is obviously fiddling the figures, and have you wondered why nobody has made on offer yet or bought it?
Surely you can find another suitable tent somewhere.
Just to update everyone on the tent situation. This one was reduced a couple of days ago to £100 and it had three other people watching it. The listing was due to end at 2pm tomorrow so yesterday I made an offer of £90, thinking that if I hadn't heard from the seller by late this evening I would buy it anyway at the £100, however I've just had an email from ebay and it seems someone else has done just that so sadly I've lost out
There's another one advertised on ebay for £179, and ex display one and described as 'clean and complete'. Now to be honest I'm a bit hesitant at going for it as there's no saying how many people have been in it while it's been on display and if it's suffered any damage - I've emailed the seller to ask but had no reply as yet. So over to you wise guys, what do you think?
