Hi,
I am looking for a tent that I can pitch by myself, as I am sure that the dogs will not be of any help with this! Also needs to have room for 2 small dogs...I was considering the Khyam Freelander but wondered what else is out there please?

You can pitch almost anything by yourself given sufficient determination. Can you give us a bit more idea of what you want to spend and how much space you need? Also whether you want the dogs sleeping in with you or confined to a seperate area at night?

Hi, up to £200 but don't mind pre-owned. Dogs will be in with me. Space for a chair, table and storage boxes is needed. Have read reviews here for the Hi Gear and Outwell tents mentioned above and both seem good...
I camp solo and presently have a 5 man tent. My biggest tent has been a 6 man (see my profile photos).
I have found that any tent with poles in line are dead easy for one person to erect. The problems start when you try erecting tents with crossover poles or poles that go in all sorts of different directions.
Any tent of any size with 3 to 4 poles in line should be simple to erect. I prefer metal poled tents because they are much easier to erect and more stable than fibreglass poled tents.
I usually thread the poles while the tent is on the ground then raise the front pole with the attached guy ropes and peg the guys temporarily to hold the pole erect. Then go round and pull everything tight and square...has always worked for me.
The Rockwell 3 is very small inside though. The 5 is a far nicer size and equally easy to put up solo.
Also have a look at the Kampa Brean range
I recently bought an Outwell Birdland 5 with front extension and carpet used for £100. It has needed a bit of tidying up but does the job for a bargain price and I can pitch it alone.
One other thing - us campers are a really friendly bunch. There will always be someone more than happy to help you so don't be afraid to ask.
