No contacted them yet as just got back from our second camp.

First time they said it might leak a bit as the cotton shrinks and the fabric was down to us erecting it poorly but not the second time and it was a lot of water in the bedrooms.

The zip cover blew up both times too and we made doubley sure it was all closed and golden the second time we used it.

I really don't understand why the biggest zip on the tent doesn't have velcro to hold it down when all the others have

Took ours away for a weekend, zipped up the front awning to hear a rip, front left mud valance decided to rip. Weird part is it wasn't even pegged that tight and I certainly didn't force it when closing.

Going to have to email them tomorrow to see what they can do

Also found this small hole in the fabric, not sure if it will affect the waterproofing though

Ours has gone back to outwell, they are stitching velcro along the big flap of fabric between the tent and awning and they are checking the leaking issue as well.

Not looking good for a 2k tent on the quality side of things. Hopefully the customer service will be spot on for any repairs.

They said the tent is fully covered for 2 years and they took ours back without hesitation.

And if they couldn't find the leak but we still weren't happy they'd replace the whole tent.

Good to hear your getting it sorted, still a big inconvenience though and not what you want for an expensive tent. The leaking isnt acceptable, ours has never leaked anywhere, even when we first seasoned the tent. Its been in some really heavy rain too, like i said previously it sounds like you've received a 'bad' one.

Ive now replaced the front main beam that was leaking on ours, interestingly it wasnt as straight forward as i thought. When i first installed and inflated the new chamber the height of the beam was a lot higher than the one next to it, i started to get worried because you commented and similar issues with this with your tent oakey! The chamber then deflated in a matter of hours. I was told that the valve interconnections are a common place for air leakages, so i checked that they were all pushed home, the white split olive the correct way round and tightened properly. This cycle continued for a number of days, with the tent deflating over night on each occasion. I was convinved that surely theyve not sent a faulty new chamber. Any way i was close to giving up and ringing for another replacement, and I re-did the air outlet valve on the outside once more, this is the hardest one to attached because it only has a small piece of pipe to attached the valve onto and the tent fabric gets in the way. This time it worked! No air leakage whatsoever, the reason ive put this on is because im sure others could have the same problem if they replace a beam, i may look at getting some liquid ptfe to put on the joints if i ever do it again. Oh and the beam now sits at the same height as all the others, i can only assume it needs a few inflates/deflates before it sits correctly inside the fabric.
