I was sucked into buying a tent from Amazon in the closing seconds of their special Prime members day. Didn't really plan on buying anything so it was a huge impulse buy.
its rather low on the rainproofing at 2000 hh and no privacy if using for more than 2 people as no bedroom compartments, not really something we would have bought for sure, guess it depends on what your wanting to use it for
Coleman are usually good tents but having read the reviews this particular one seems to need rather too many modifications to make it a suitable camping tent and would probably be better as a garden sun room/play room/summer guest room.
If you are looking for a tent to go camping in I would send this one back and look for something else.
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
I did the same thing, I bought the Cortes in the Prime sale and then bought the extension to go with it, I spent just under £300 in total.
Trouble is if the weather is inclement (as it was this last weekend) there is not a great deal of room in the main tent and the space inside the extension is a bit of a joke!
However it isn't a bad tent, it withstood the winds that tore up the campsite in the Witterings this weekend, the front extension didn't look too clever mind!
We'll keep it as a 'fun' tent I guess, it's really very quick to put up and take down, I think it took about 10 minutes as we rushed to get it up as it started to rain.
I now have to go and choose another tent from Go Outdoors tomorrow as we have another camping trip this weekend.
I had a look round this tent at Go Outdoors recently. It feels more like a Gazebo with central dividing curtain than a tent. I'd say you've paid about what it's worth and it'll probably serve best as a day room.
