The Spreen online 10T Mojave bell tents are generally ones that get good reports on the Bell Tents FB page. Polyester rather than poly cotton. Their polycotton one (Desert) is outside your budget but again has good reviews.

For polycotton and cotton tents some people like to take the precaution of testing it with a hosepipe before using it. This can also help to "weather" the fibres as the cotton fibres swell and seal the weave. This is how cotton canvas is waterproof. However, I have to say that (being a cautious type) I DID test my Navajo 6 with a hosepipe and was happy to note that the water just beaded up and ran off. On our first trip it faced some very wet Welsh weather and didn't leak at all.

do you have to do anything to the Navajo 4 tent eg waterproof it before use?
People always talk of weathering a cotton tent (forget the poly part..) to tighten up the weave prior to usage......seems that'll happen on the first wet use a tent gets, but.....I have still done it on all my cotton and polycotton tents including my Navajo4.....it's an excuse to get the tent up and have a look☺
