I had my heart set on a Kampa Croyde 6 classic but have fallen in love with a TC800XL.
The quality seems higher and should last a while longer.
Does anyone have any views on this tent?
It's big bucks for me so would like some opinions, also does the inner tent in the living area come out completely?
Thanks
Mike

we own this tent and it's wonderful...beautifully made, easy to pitch, lots of room and yes, the inner tent in the living area does come out completely...
it'll stand up to very strong winds and heavy rain...the zipped up curtains are excellent...on a recent trip to the Lake District when the weather was very hot, we zipped up all the curtains and opened up all the doors and the inner wall to create what was basically a huge open sun canopy that allowed the breeze to blow thru...
people often make the mistake of thinking it's going to be dark inside the tent because of its colour, especially on overcast days, but this couldn't be further from the truth in our experience...the windows are huge and let in an awful lot of light, so much so that we rarely had them fully unzipped...
i can highly recommend this tent...it makes our camping trips perfect...

as the bedroom pods are made from the same colour fabric as the roof and curtains they're definitely not blackout pods, but they do "soften" the sunlight making morning lie ins much more comfortable...

Does anyone know if there is the same tent (dimensions etc) but without the living space hanging bedroom?
Seems a waste of money paying for something I will never use.
Also is this the same design as a rhapsody tc800xl?
