As I tend to be partial to musty smelling canvas I picked up an orange bag with a triangle where once a makers badge was at a car boot sale yesterday. I did cheekily request a demonstration with which the response was I'm too old to be crawling in tents - not sure what he thought I was expecting! lol.
So today I decided to have a go at pitching the mystery tent, the wood parts on the poles confirmed it's old, I was a little confused by the poles, either I've pitched it wrong or a previous owner decided they wanted an A frame entrance as there is a spare upright left. It's not perfect with marks and fading but the triangle badge on the side of the tent that is now only attached by the bottom stitching confirmed what it was.
I've tried googling and can only find the blacks Companion tent and nothing on the Rob Roy, any one here with a little knowledge on this?
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes

Wonder if might once have had an extended flysheet to form a porch?
