Hi everyone,

I have a Hi Gear Corado 8. The awning was badly torn in an epic storm last summer, so much so that a small self adhesive patch won't really do the trick.

Does anyone have any tried and tested methods for fixing this kind of fabric? I'm used to old canvas tents and don't want to further damage it.

I also want to stitch a zip to the bottom of the front door. The version I have only zips up both sides of the door, the bottom of the door is held in place with a bit of Velcro. Any advice on method or brands I should use will be very much appreciated.

Claire

1 small dome tent, 2 bodies plus 1 large, hairy, panting, drooling, slobbering Shar Pei. This should be an interesting trip!

Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes

New! Please upload a photo of your tent to the Tent Showcase!

I would go on ebay and get some fabric to match and then simply glue it in place, no stich holes that way
