Please would anyone have heard of a sunn camp variflex?? Have picked one up very cheap but cannot find anything about it on Internet. It has a couple of small repairable holes in tent outer but the silvery coating on inside is perishing and wondered if this will effect the waterproof of tent. Any help or advice will be much appreciated

I don't know that tent and don't know any tents with a silvery coating on the inside. However, polyester tents are laminated on the inside with polyurethane which is a waterproofing layer. If that is flaking off then there is every chance the tent is no longer waterproof and only fit for the bin.

Agreed. Its probably had it . But put it up get a hose pipe and see what happens.

Thank you both. Gone to dump lol and have now purchas ed a 2nd hand coleman columbia 10 berth. Used 3 times from new so very pleased for the bargain price of £50.
