We’re a family of 3 plus a small dog and have been looking at getting back into camping for a while. We know that we definitely want a polycotton tent and have whittled it down to Kampa Hayling. We’re now trying to decide whether to get the 4 or 6 man version. Any advice or tips would be appreciated. Thanks

We're currently looking at new tents to buy for next year and the Hayling is one we're considering along with the Studland. Prefer the bedrooms in the Hayling, but the size of the Studland.
The 4 isn't very big at all, I'd say you'd regret spending that much money and not going for the 6.
If at all possible go and look at a tent display. Even if they haven’t got the exact one you’re interested in it gives you a better understanding of what you’re looking for.
If you have space in the car for it I would also go for the larger one. I think you’d regret it if you don’t. You can never have too much space in a tent.
We are a couple with a Westie and a Cockapoo and initially thought a Hayling 4 would be fine. We went and had a look and realised that once you fit a couple of chairs and a coolbox and table and then a dog or two, never mind a child .....well you get the picture. Go for the 6 - you won't regret it. We love ours
