Merely from a quick google of this tent, and absolutely no personal experience of it:
At 1.4m high, it won't allow "average height adults" to stand fully erect inside. I don't like stooping!
At 3000mm HH, whilst comfortably over the UK standard, it does appear to be a little less waterproof than "Yer average modern day tent". (Many of which are now rated 4000-6000 HH)
I'd prefer a SIG (sewn in groundsheet) to keep all the draughts and bugs at bay. This also helps to form the tent shape and tautness, when pitching. This one is described as having a "Linked in groundsheet".
I would say you can do a lot worse than choosing a Vango tent, as they do have a reasonable reputation. However, I'd also say there are better Vango tents out there. Whether they would come in budget is another matter.
I personally would spend a little more, but that's easy to say, sat here spending someone else's money!
If the "negatives" above can be accepted, without compromising your enjoyment (and continuation) of camping, it appears to be "A good tent for the money"!
