Good morning all me, wife and son go camping every year we go to Pembrokeshire West Wales we love it there. We have at present a hi gear Sahara 6 pole tent is about 8 year old. We are looking at an air tent but not sure which one. We are torn between Berghaus 6xl. Vango Riverdale 6, Vango Edoras 5 & 6xl and the Kampa Hayling 6 air. Both of us being key workers for NHS wife at present doesn't even know if she has got her holidays granted so as to go with this statement we are needing to get 1 now as Easter sales are on.
Stay safe all
Andy

Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
If I was in the market for an inflatable tent, it could only be a Karsten the air pressure in the tubes is 50 psi, most other inflatable tents require a max of 5 psi, that to me tells it’s own story alone.
Although I do favour Cotton Canvas as well, so maybe I am a little biased, I have been to a display of Karsten tents a few years back over in Cheshire, and they do appear expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for.
We have a Rivendale 800, it’s a great tent, very strong in bad weather, I would recommend it to anyone. I have uploaded pictures of it in the tent review section.
A friend has a Berghaus and that’s also a great tent.
They are heavy though,
Have a look at this years new tents from Zempire - they are superb and have a 4 year warranty. the TL or TXL would suit your needs size wise and theres a Zempire camping equipment fb group that has many owners who can help you out further!

There's a "review" of a Karsten just appeared on the review pages. Doesn't tell you much, but could be interesting for those looking ???
Depends on how often you want to go camping, how much you can afford (today) and how old your son is. If he's getting to the age he's not going to want to come on holiday with you soon then buy a higear or something like that for the new 2 or 3 years, then after that you can invest in a seriously expensive "investment" tent for the two of you.
On the advice "Oh spend thousands ultimately it will save you money" is wise but not helpful advice for everyone, when the reason many (not all) of us go camping is to save money cos we don't have the cashflow (today) to do otherwise.
We love camping but if we could afford to go 5 star to the Algarve then its a nobrainer (especially if we could also have a camping holiday as well).
We have a Kampa studland 8man airbeam for the 3 of us - it's perfect for us, and a slight upgrade on our old higear kalahari 8 pole (which lasted forever and still gets used in our garden all patched up).
Be sure you want an airbeam though - there are disadvantages as well as the good bits - check the weight and how many bags it comes in.
It really is worth going to see the tents actually up, even if it's a bit of a trek to a showroom.
