Hi,
I'm trying to find a good backpacking tent that's reasonably lightweight, that offers enough room to sit up inside.
My requirements are:
- Tall enough for a 6ft man to sit up straight inside
- Big enough to store equipment inside (so probably a 2-man tent)
- Lightweight. 2KG ideal, 2.5KG absolute maximum.
- Suitable for all weather, three seasons
- 4000+ hh for fly and groundsheet
- Available footprint
- Porch
- Front entry rather than side entry
- Budget up to £300 but lower is better
The closest I've found so far is the Vango Blade Pro 200. It seems to have plenty of vertical space, but as a single-pole design I've read it can struggle in bad weather.
The next closest is the Wild Country Helm Compact 2 but this is new for 2020 and I haven't been able to find any reviews of it.
Does anybody have any other recommendations?
Cheers
