Hi,
Short question: had anyone used a fold out off ground / cot tent? Are they any good?

Long version: I tend to camp alone so a couple of years ago I bought a really good pop up tent so its quick and easy to pitch and strike. However, but decent camp bed doesn't fit in it so I've had to go back to my army style cot, which is not terribly comfy. I'm a total wuss when it comes to getting cold so insist on sleeping off the ground. I've recently seen off ground tents and they look ideal, but are they too good to be true?

I'm looking for one that's going to withstand the British weather and is insulted enough to cope with camping in autumn and spring as well as the height of summer. I'm concerned some of these cot tents I've seen online are better suited to the odd night rather than extended camping trips.

Any advice?

Thank you all in advance.

If you want something HD and a camp bed in, and perhaps a fire....have you considered a baker style tent?
