Hi all,

Recently bought a Coleman Rocky Mountain which we love, but at the back of the tent there is three peg fastening points corners and middle, the middle peg is off by at least 15cm making it seemingly impossible to get the rain sheet tight and square at the back is this normal? I’m inclined to think it isn’t but Im no tent expert so I thought I would ask here.

Looking at Coleman's website here, it appears that the back pegging point is offset to one side, presumably to align with the 3/2 bedroom split.

I would imagine the inner tent at the back has a pegging point that needs to be offset and this pegs / clips into a fixing where you peg the offset centre of the flysheet. This is normal on many tents.
