Hi folks, I haven't been around for a while, but I've just bought a frame tent and I wondered whether anyone knows what make it is, please?



Strangely, there are no makers labels anywhere on the tent. Any guesses? Thanks.

Sometimes doing an image search on Google reveals an identical product and the link back to source page reveals a bit of info, or clues as to further searches.

Try searching 'blue green frame tent', adding 80's, 90's etc. or berth number etc. to refine search a little.

We had a Relum Bungalow 4 back in the 90’s - looks very similar, but might be a Canaria.

Thanks for your suggestions folks. I'll try another search. It's probably a French make as the fire label is in both French and English. Hadn't thought of Relum. A friend of mine thought it was probably either a Trigano or a Raclet.

Lovely tent though! I bought it off ebay but the seller didn't know what make it was. It has a label on the pole bag which says 'Comfort Luxe 4', which is a Marechal. Now, looking at the reviews on this site, if you look up that make and model the description is nothing like mine, so I can only assume the bag is from a different kit.

A pity tents don't have serial numbers, it would be easier to trace their origins!

It looks like a Relum to me. If you google Relum Tri Auster Roma you'll see a very similar tent (though door on left instead of right).

Thanks lidds0. I was looking on ebay last night at 'retro frame tents' and a Cabanon came up that was also very similar, apart from the colour, but I'll try a search on the Relum as well.

Thanks again folks, for taking the time to reply. A friend of my spent an absolute age yesterday trawling the 'net and found what must be the answer eventually. A tent identical to mine, listed as a Marechal Nice 4. So Marg6, nearly right! Lidds0 I tried searching the Relum model you suggested but couldn't come up with anything that looked like mine. Thank you all very much for you suggestions!
