Help! I have disappeared down an air tent rabbit hole and can't decide which one to go for. I have a budget of £600-800 and would like one to fit a family of 5.
I'd love one with an enclosed porch as well as a living area. Currently we have an old Coleman tent which is very sturdy but it's in three separate bags and the poles are so heavy that I struggle to erect it as I have a bad back so thought the air tent might be easier as my husband can do that on his own!
Any recommendations please?
Thank you 🙂

Welcome to the forum, our tent is real easy for me (61) to put up on my own, just 4 hoops and no guy lines almost.
I did look at air tents, but most of the main brands use low pressure in the tubes, around 5 PSI, then I came across the Karsten air tents that use around 40 PSI in the tubes, I viewed the Karsten tents at a display in Cheshire, they just made all other air tents look like toys.
To be fair though £5k for a tent is a bit extreme, I would rather put the money towards a caravan, which is what I hope to do.
Thank you for letting me know. I saw the Karsten tents and thought they'd be amazing but like you say a bit pricey!
My husband is a bit of a reluctant camper (he loves it when he's there but hates the faff of setting up) and he's got his heart set on an air tent. If it means I get more camping trips then I'll happily get one!
