After many years my trusty vango tigris died last year (first day on site, main door zip broke, thank god I’d taken a tarp we used to weatherproof it for the week).
I’ve got a smaller 4 man I’m taking this year but am going for a more flexible set up by buying an event shelter to act as our living space.
I’m currently torn between the kampa 300 air shelter and a trusty Coleman event shelter. Max space on the site I’m going to is 3x3 and I’m after something to be able to stick the table and chairs in, plus possibly cooking.
There’s enough reviews of the Coleman out there but anyone have the kampa? Or another make that comes with 4sides for a similar price (I’m aware i need to purchase the Coleman ones but all in it’s the same price as the kampa then). My worry is really about wind and it taking off! (I usually use rock pegs not the defaults)

We have a higear hogan hub - its cheap and it comes with all the sides. Packs away nice and small and has withstood some seriously bad weather. Putting it up is a little fiddly so I wouldnt recommend it for one-night camping.
Thanks, struggling to find that one for sale, keep getting pointed to a vango one that seems to be out of stock everywhere!
If you have a link that would be appreciated. Thanks.
We also have the Vango Hogan hub, and would really recommend it (it does seem to be out of stock everywhere though). We liked it as it comes with walls (so we didn't have to buy those as well) and an optional groundsheet.

Thanks, I think they’ve superseded it with a different hub. I do like vango given how long we had the Tigris and my eldest is still using my halo 300 for himself as he likes his own space.
My only worry is if the campsite got antsy about the fact it’s 3.5m. I am taking a smaller tent than originally anticipated, so should be ok...
There’s one floating about on eBay so I’ll keep an eye on the price.
