Hi. Im a new member here. Hoping to get an advice. I have an Outwell Michigan L, unfortunately, this tent has now been discontinued. The arch metal pole has broke and I cannot find any replacement anywhere. Any advice please? Thank you.

Tentspares list replacement fibreglass poles for your tent, I don't know if they do the steel poles but they do list a lot of generic parts, ferrules, angles and other fittings.

If it is the actual steel pole that's broken (HTF do you break a 19mm diam steel tube?), then you may have to apply a bit of lateral thinking to find a replacement, I'm thinking of a galvanised steel clothes line prop and a pipe cutter here but the must be many alternatives, maybe replacing a damaged section with some scrap tubing.

You can tell I'm one the generation of men who had sheds and never threw anything away because it might be useful.

If you lack the DIY skills or tools to do this. Try posting on Facebook "Can anyone help me fix this" with pictures. A friend or friend of friend may offer practical help.
