Just picked up a new tent from Attwools. Its a Vango sky 400 airbeam, its only a small tent but its a 4 man. Looking for some opinions on it from anyone who has one, not yet out of the bag but hopefully next week. I am a stroke survivor and a inflateable is the only way for me to camp alone

Enjoy your tent - so long as it stays up (which it will) and it is watertight (which it is) it'll be perfectly fine for you - not too heavy either for an airbeam.
It's interesting that the write up on Attwools says "Compact size but good height" - I'd say 140cm (lower in the sleeping area) is wet-back territory for me at 190cm, so it wouldnt be for me, and the angle at the back of bedroom would mean the sleeping area is only just long enough - but I assume you've either seen it up in the shop or watched the video on youtube.
I've said it before but it continues to surprise me how many people buy a tent then come on here and ask if it's any good :-) Enjoy your camping!

Airbeams are great nowadays - one of ours is an airbeam. You'll find the tent quite easy to pitch - you'll still need to peg out but when you inflate it you'll find it finds its shape really easily and is strong in winds.
Couple of things you might think about if you want to reduce physical stress:
Electric air pump - an indulgence as it looks like about 10 pumps per beam (on youtube the legendary Mike from Attwoolls is filmed pitching)
A tarp or groundsheet - will make the tent easier to pitch and unpitch cleanly and protect your investment.
A large bin bag or similar - when you are leaving site, if the weather is bad you don't want to be getting soaked and tired rolling the tent up into its pack size.
Also, most sites there's always someone in another tent who will help out!
Thanks for that, i do have a kampa dometic gale electric pump i bought it after breaking 2 manual pumps due to trying to use one handed. Must think about getting a footprint

I have the same tent. Taken it out a few times now and very pleased with it. Had some heavy rain and no leaks. A doddle to pitch and enough height to sit on a chair in the porch. One thing I would recommend is a tarp to run over the tent and door if you're due rain as water runs in as soon as you open the door. Enjoy your new tent!
One of my old tents avango venture 600dlx had the same problem with the doors and rain i solved it by banging the top of the door with the bsck of my hand prior to unzipping it , hope this works for the skye as i have a carpet on order. Great to hear of someone else buying this tent that gives me confidence
Vango tents are great, I just wish they would put a little canopy over the sloping doors.
Will you be OK in a tent you can’t stand up in?
Great to hear you are back camping in stroke survivor mode, I am a fit early-60s but ‘general crumble’ has led to me having full height tents for the last few years. But full height means more pitching challenges and especially with air beams, weight. So it’s all a trade off for what suits you best.
I should be fine I'm only 5'6" so it's more of a case of bend in the middle, I have an old Benjamin Edginton ridge tent from the 70s and that is only about waist high but I struggle to pitch on my own
