Hi all,
Currently have an adequate tent but since I'm camping more often need to upgrade with a bit more space. Have searched and visited some main outlets and also online without finding my ideal tent - I realise I may have to compromise somewhere eventually, but thought I'd as the experts.

Needs
4-5 man tent (for two tall people who need space)
Sewn in groundsheet
Insect net on all openings (in Scotland where the midges can be brutal) including main entrance - this is crucial
Main entrance to have the option to use king poles for a canopy
1 bedroom (an optional divider would be a bonus)
1 living space able to stand up and have small table chairs, storage etc

Have over the last weeks looked at various tents but all have drawbacks.

Hi All,
I intended to leave a review having used the tent several times as it might help others on a decision. But on the Review form section there are bits I didn't know so could not go forward (release date for instance). Wondering if it might be of any use to put a small review simply in this post? btw it's a Urban Escape 4 Man Tunnel Tent (Halfords brand) which I don't think has been reviewed so far. Not that I'm a pro at reviews or camping!

Is it the four person air tunnel tent? It looks like it was released in 2017 if so.

No Mrs jubbly it's the ordinary fibreglass pole version. Thanks for trying though.

From the little research I've been able to do I think my tent may also be 2017. The review on this site is for a previous older version.

Bit of a mysyery tent then. Have you got a photo youcan upload? I saw a good looking, very big Urban Escape on my recent trip - can't find any details of it anywhere. Probabaly old but you'd think something would still be online

It would seem first sold in 2017 though I bought mine this year. Apparently a best seller and I bought it on the strength of features and by and large excellent reviews. It is sold out for this season so no longer on the Halfords website.
This is a short video covering the basics. I won't do a full on review.

IMO there's a lot to recommend this tent. If anyone has any questions I'd be glad to answer.
