Hi everyone!
I am a fashion design student developing my final collection and I was just wondering if anyone had any old tents that they no longer use that are in bad condition, rips etc. I have some waterproofs in my collection that I want to make from repurposed tent fabric.
I would also be interested in sleeping bags, camping chairs etc. that are damaged.

You can usually find stuff at the local recycling centre or you may have a freecycle website in your local area.   Lots of people are happy to give away rather than land fill.   Good luck

Try any local camp sites. Lots of idiots who usually go abroad bought tents and equipment this year then abandoned it on the camp site at the end of their holiday.

Its a sad fact that you fill find a huge amount of abandoned camping equipment at larger camp sites, especially during the summer months.
It seems to have become acceptable to spend a few hundred on a tent then dump it at the end of the holiday, even if there is nothing wrong with it.
