Hi friends. I'm unsure which to go for here. Airtek 8 is less wide so would be easier to find pitches, and I like the fact it's a bigger lounge area, also like having the side opening under a canopy option. Is it comparable in quality, details, and longevity to the Outdoor Revolution Airedale 7.0SE though? Certainly prefer the price of the Airtek 8. OR say their Airedale airbeams release air if over inflated or if very hot. Can't see that the Airtek does. Does that make the Airedale a safer bet? Is one going to be a lot easier to get hold of replacement airbeams in a hurry? Would people recommend buying a spare airbeam (s) to take on trips? Sorry, for all the questions. This will be my first air tent, we had the cavernous poled HiGear Frontier 8 before, which we loved but it's time for a replacement.
Oh, and I forgot! Do people feel really exposed in these massive windowed tents? I love all the light but do people end up zipping up windows half way most of the time? Many thanks for giving my questions consideration.

Re feeling exposed. No. People walk by & they don’t give a jot. No one looks anywhere except at their feet or the puddles or their phone or the person or dog they’re with.

-------------
2024 = 20 sites / 41 nights. 2023 = 9/23. 2022 = 13/35. 2021 = 11/29. 2020 = 4/20. 2019 = 13/35. 2018 = 20/33. 2017 = 10/22. 2016 = 19/33. 2015 = 15 sites / 27 nights. Didn't count 1976 to 2014.

Thank you. That makes perfect sense and is reassuring. Do you have any experience at all of either Khyam Airtek or Outdoor Revolution Airedale tents?
