Hi..I'm new to this forum and I just purchased a marechal 6 berth tent and I'm desperately looking for an instruction manual if anyone can help..thanks
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
Back garden, sunny day. There are only so many permutations of inner & outer & poles & guys. None of our tents (Lichfield, Vango, Cabanon) came with a manual. None of them was rocket science. YouTubes will show you the result you’re aiming for.
Here's a review from this site. It has a picture and some small pictures. Click on the small ones and you will get full size pics showing the tent inside and out. It shows a lot of the pole structure.
Get all the poles out and group similar ones together to get an idea of how many of each you have.
Legs will have a small spike and circular foot. Lay these out where they are likely to go.
Roof bars will probably each be two poles joined together, hopefully with a spring or elastic holding them together.
Check them against the compartment sizes in the canvas.
Lay these out where they are likely to go.
Then you will have a load of jointing pieces which join various poles and legs together. Try and identify where these are likely to go from the laid out poles and legs you have.
It looks like the front wall can go inset like in the photos or moved to the front of the porch.
And once you have got it sorted colour code the poles with different colour insulation tapes - e.g. rear corner connector one strip of red on the connector for the leg and the same on the corresponding leg, blue on the connector for the rear roof diagonal pole and same on the corresponding pole etc.
That way for every subsequent pitch you can just line up all the poles and connectors at speed and then erect.
