This Tent has lots of memories for me..
I know it's not made any more ( unfortunately )

Hi,
The Good Companions range has not been made for decades. As such, good ones are now becoming rare, as they will be 40-60 years old now.
They are a seminal tent much loved by collectors (of which I am one, and I do use mine) The appear on ebay and the like occasionally but often at inflated prices for poor examples. But if you can find a good one with extended fly and A frames, you will have something very special.......
They are superb for camping in, and I hope you manage to find one, you will just need to rigorously search all the sale sites and perhaps be prepared to buy and sell,and trade up over several tents?

I wish you well in your quest, but be patient.... :-(
I have 3, two standards and a major, but alas not for sale; they get used on the rare occasions that I use a campsite.
If it helps, I did log "alarms" with all the major selling sites like Ebay, Gumtree, Facebook et al???

Hi, thank you for coming back, there's now been two? on there I think.
Of course whether any good I know not. I did ask a question of the first one, but judging by the terse response I got from the vendor, I don't expect him/her to know much or care much, its a tent for sale.......

I have one.... very old, used it when first married 50 years ago. It has been dry stored, flat folded, not rolled. But hasn’t been out in years. Where are you? I’m in Northants.........
