Is there such a thing?
Not important for the sleeping area, but it would be great to stand in the entrance for food prep?
And not too expensive!
One of the Quechua tents has 44” headroom for (seated) cooking shelter …

Thanks, but it seemed to be for larger tents?
I’m a solo camper but appreciate a bit more space.

I appreciate the need to be budget friendly, however, have a look at ESVO Bedouin 200 which is a Dutch cotton canvas pyramid tent.

ESVO Bedouin 200

I had their 4-berth Bedouin 340 as my last tent and camped on my own with my dog, loved that tent!

The 200 could be on display at Camping Travel Store which I believe is their exclusive UK stockist, in case you would like to try it for size first.

Have a look at the Khyam LocTek Dallington 3.0 to see if that suits.

Before I switched to a cotton canvas pyramid tent, I had their Freelander (discontinued) which was a lovely 3-berth tent just the right size for me and my dog.

It was destroyed during a storm, hence I moved to a cotton canvas pyramid as they are more storm-resistant.

We had an Outwell Arizona, a 3 person standing height dome. The bedroom pod can be left in to pitch all in one but it's probably easier to pitch if you take it out. The dome shape is very stable in windy weather. Although it's been discontinued you might find one on on eBay or Facebook marketplace.

Looks like there could be much more choice if I extend my search to a 3-person tent. Thanks for the suggestions.

I wish I'd kept my GC tent now, I saw one the other day and it brought back happy memories.

Vango Harris 350... 3 person (allegedly) but as we all know only possible if one likes to play sardines at night or know each other VERY WELL.

Polyester, but has stand-up height throughout, from experience of something similar one can pitch solo, has a fold-down front door, opens up to give a lovely porch area, and has a little canopy for protection if raining (or to sit beneath for some shade. Wish I'd seen this before I bought the very similar Kampa Brean 3 poled tent.

On offer currently: https://www.outdoorworlddirect.co.uk/tents/shop-by-tent-type/poled-tents/vango-har........

Good luck. Enjoy hunting.

The research is a good proportion of the fun when buying something new!
