Exactly the reason we chose the 700 i.e.
According to the footprint drawings, 2 kids on a double airbed in the small bedroom of the 700 fits snugly. It has to be a normal airbed, not one of the bigger ones.
(havn't tried it yet, its comes out of the box this weekend)
So, we would say the extra is worth it. It did takes us about 3 weeks to decide though.
