As a camping novice last year I bought a small 3 man dome tent (I can't remember the make). This year I'd like to get a larger tent, one that I can stand up in and that has an area that will accommodate chairs where we can watch the rain fall in comfort! I really need some advice on what tent to get as the choice is overwhelming. It's for 2 people and I have up £150 to spend.

Hi Elsie ,ther eis hundreds of different tents and there is the right tent out there for everyone ,just what is right for one  may not be right for you ! your best bet would be to get to a nearby tent display and see which ones suit you ,then post on here naming the tents ,to see if poeple know of any good points or bad points for those tents

We have  a vango venture ,and think it would be ideal for 2 people ,loads of room and very sturdy and just under £100 but you would really need to see one up and compare it to others

Thanks for your suggestions. Since I posted this I've been looking at the Venture 500 does anyone have any feedback on this tent?
