Lots of people are very fond of the Diablo 600 which would be a good buy, also do a 900 which is huge. Also the Hartford XL is a good one. Just depends on what you need really
Have you got a trailer? Have you got lots of space for the tent in your car etc,and all the accessories that you need. We have a frame tent, which is a lot bulkier, but we love it
Just bought the vango diablo 600, stayed 1 night in masham (north yorkshire)yesterday, just to practise putting up before going down cornwall for a week in a couple of weeks time with our 2 girls aged 9 & 12, great tent, took just over an hour to put up on our first attempt and around 40 mins to pack everything away, this is our first tent and i'm well impressed. It was £240 from mitchells in wakefield but i have seen it a little cheaper on the net.

Thanks for your replies, will have a look at them. Have seen a post somewhere though about the diablo 600 being too big for some sites? or am i wrong? looks a good shape but i dont wont to end up paying for 2 pitches.
How long does it take u to get this tent up. I just bought one this week had a go at puttin it up. Took six attempts at getting it back into bag. It seemed huge, but we are well pleased with it. Lots of space.
Some sites are a little funny about the size of tents but most are OK. The Diablo 600 is not a big tent in comparison with alot of others. We've got a Diablo 900 and as yet we've not had a problem.
I tend to ring ahead to check availability and also mention the size of the tent just to be sure and as yet no problem.
Also if there is a problem then I'd be questioning the size of the pitch, you want to be friendly with your neighbours but not that friendly if you know what I mean.
I love my Diablo but I've also got a Montana 4 for weekends for speed of pitching.
Whatever you choose make sure you shop around via the web as prices vary considerably !!!

Hi.It all comes down to preference really. We used to have a dome, but recently got a frame tent, as we have now got a trailer. They are heavier and bulkier, but the space and headroom, combined with having a kitchen area is absolutely fab for us.We are a family of five, and a frame tent really works for us.There are loads of different opininons.Have a good look round .The best choice is a tent that ticks the boxes for your particular needs.Good luck!!!!.
Just cameback from a weekend away in a friends Lichfield Arapaho 6. What a superb tent it is. two 3 person bedrooms vis a vis, and the living area was huge. We had 4 kayaks inside, and could still walk round!!
