More virgin campers looking for a family tent, which make, what type? Some requirements as follows: 4/5 berth, sewn in ground sheet, two sleeping compartments and good quality. Any suggestions or advice will be greatly recieved.

Have a look at the Outwell Montana's - 4 or 6 - *very* nice tents, new for 2005. Selling like 'things that sell extremely well...', apparently...would appear to meet all your requirements...

How about the Diablo 600. 2 good sized bedrooms, large living area, Big porch for storage. SIG

Hi have you looked in the Campus range ? very reasonable and a good selection to choose from, the 'Yale' sleeps 6 and has an all in one inner (SIG).

...or spend a bit more and look at the Campus' big brothers: the Khyams...so many tents, so much choice!

As always - there is no substitute for visiting your nearest 'Tent Barn' and sitting in 'em all! An afternoon, very pleasantly spent...

Just curious - why '3 nights minimum' if 'so easy to put up'?? I was expecting to see that it was somewhat involved to put up after that lead-in?

We've just got a Coleman Michigan from millets too, for £165.  Excellent price - excellent tent.  Got everything we need, and plenty of space.

However, when we bought ours, we had to ring round about seven shops in the North/North East of England before we found one - then had to travel to a shop 60 miles away to buy one.

I don't think they have any left now.  (I have seen them on t'internet for £199 though)
