HI GUYS...Just to let you know that due to my work as a postman, ive been looking at as well as comparing new tents at PJ CAMPING COLLIER ROW...
my problem is...that although I have a caravan...most of the meets are far away from here...and as i have work SAT mornings...ive got very limited time to use the caravan..im thinking that if i had a tent (AS WELL lol) i could throw it into the boot of the car and just go...where upon with the caravan..ill have to go the storage site..check the van over...hook up then go..traveling at 50 mph...i would get to a meet in approx 4 hours...by the time ive ptched up go to sleep...itll soon be time to pack up n go..as im back to bed at 9.00pm sun and up for work monday morning at 3.00am
im thinking a tent would be a quicker alternative...PJs are most understanding over this..and are advising me well..but the final yes or no lies with me,,,
give me a hand to decide...please..lol....got 5 or 6 tents that im interested in...
THANK YOU ALL AT PJ CAMPING>>>collier row...

HI I am a Postman to and have the same prob. I find also now we have to work longer on Sat it is not easy . By the time I have finished an got home an ready to go it is nearly noon, so to much in this day and age of hopeless and congested road system, to get to a meet.
I only tend to do meets if they work out with my long weekend, if local (ie 20 mile or so) I go up late Sat afternoon and stay for evening.
Yes I would recomend a tent for quickness, I have a 4man from Argos , which is very easy to get out an sorted
3.00am , glad I don`t work in your office lol , I get up at 4.15 for a 5AM start,
im still keeping the caravan....but i have decide to buy a tent as well.
up at 415 am... OMG....our fames are at maximum capacity...651 calls per frame...with more being added...due to the building of houses n flats... were at limit now...
yep were woking longer on sats as well ....its not a job anymore...if we dont get in the ear from customers..its the managers...CANT WIN...

Yes been getting up at 4.15 for 5 AM start for over 30 years now. You can only work yours hours 5AM -! PM. nothing more, nothing less, If you can make a bit of time then great.
I do a rural , total of half hour travelling, delivery 3 half to four hours. Get out 7-7.30 . Yes it is not a job it was , but is life in general. Only 9 years an 8 months to go for maximum pension lol
hi Fred go get a tent and be like the rest as you see on my profile I have three lol , and used them all at different times this year, left a message in life in general for you as not heard if your van was ok mate re vandals ?

Just as a word of confidence - i bought a tent from pj camping at the start of the year - an Aztec which was excellent value for money and we got fantastic service from them
I would have no hesitation in buying from them again
