I am on the hunt for a new tent for me the wife & four kids - the eldest (15) wants a room of his own coz he's outgrown the company of the other (under 10) does anyone have any recommendations (polite or otherwise) that we can get on a budget?

depends on budget but this one seems not bad

Would your eldest lad not be happier in a pup tent so he can have a bit of independence?  That way you don't need to buy such a big main tent.

Yup I would agree ,kids love to have their own tent and you can get a delta for around £30 !! A fantastic and quiet large tent for the money ,we even plan to nab our sons to go camping alone (if we get the chance!!)

Would avoid ebay tents like the plague ,unless they have a reputable camping store that people on here would vouch for!!

My new tent is big its the 12 man pro action from argos down from £200 to £130 its a bargain i love it, wreckon 2 double airbeds would fit in each room. and the living area is spacious too...

Goodluck, wouldnt leave son at home though or you will probably need to live in your tent when son has finished partying in your house lol
