My new tent has just arrived, delivered from argos, so when my man gets up gonna try put it up in the back garden, firstly to see if just the 2 of us can manage me not being so bright when it comes to erecting a tent, and secondly to maybe leave it up over night and check for swimming pools tomorrow, before i venture out with it next week.

Wish me luck gotta feeling im gonna need it

Bought one not so long ago and used it for the second time last weekend in Brean and one of the zips broke on one of the doors, managed to get it shut and gaffer taped the bottom to stop it opening. It lasted all weekend even through the wind on Friday night. On Monday looked on the Argos web site and saw they no longer have them on there or in the new book and thought we'd have to have a different one but the wife phoned them Tuesday tea time and they sent out a new one on Wednesday

lol, hippy sorry for building your hopes up.

Well ive put my new tent up in the back garden, glad its a big garden this tents huge, its great and more to the point the rain has started so happy days, now we can check for leaks.  Took just a little over an hour to put up but im sure it will be quicker next time. might just drag the sleeping bags in it later and spend the night out there with the kids. do you think i will  be charged extra for the size of ground this is gonna take up, does anybody know?

Morning All, Just came in from my new tent after spending the entire night in it on my own,  Kids played up so hubby made them go to there own beds and well me wouldnt leave my tent up for the neighbours cats to squat in. Bear in mind my cats were in the house.  It was a bit nerve racking when the drunks would walk past or the screeching cars would go by.  Suppose thats what happens when your garden wall seperates you from the main road..  But other than a few heart stoppers i fully enjoyed the time without fighting kids.

However i must say it stopped raining not long after it was put up so dont know if it leaks but i doubt it will, its by far the comfortable tent i dreamt of in my last one lol. Bedrooms being very big and spacious. only snag is the odd gap in the corners as the ground sheet is'nt fitted hence the neighbours cat crawling on me at 4-30am oh well i wasnt the only one scared so was the cat by the time i finished screaching at it.

My sleeping bag is the pro action kingzise in argos £30 bought last week its totally warm and cozy...  But best of all if you need a repalcement slaeeping bag nip into argos its gone down to £15 (half price) well worth the money trust me you wont be dissapointed..

Have a good day one and all

some camp sites are now charging for doubble pitches for the new lage tents so contact then before you go to avoid the hassle of trying to tell your kids your not prepared to pay 38 pound a night to camp out for three nights when at reception as a friend of mine found out in the new forest only last week

would love to get a new tent but still have to do research on the best one for me and my monster kids something with a sound proof compartment would be nice and a lock heheh

Hi There John il have to scan through my phone just got back yesterday from using my 12 man bought it 2 years ago and im absolutely made up with been in some bad storms 2 and its still standing strong, the bedrooms are like pods they have fitted ground sheets in the the 3 bedrooms, and the living space ground sheet clips to the corners, its been a sound investment for us on a low budget,  its very spacious and double airbeds fit in each room with space either side. we did have 2 air beds and a camp bed in one of the rooms the other night, we met a couple from birmingham who loved the tent and may even be buying one il sort pics out if i have inside ones when i get through all this washing lol
