Whats best for weekends away for 2 adults and 9 year old. We have never been camping before. We like the Khyam Tourer 200 which we have seen today at PJ Camping in Romford or the Outwell Montana4 which we have seen on the internet?

khyam is the best and go for the tourer 400 you can leave a pod out for max space, very quick to put up due too there rapied fix system and can be done by one person alone.
2nd choice the outwells now they fixed the problem with the poles, but they are heavy unlike the khyam.
It has to be the Montana 4 - we are 2 adults and have 2 kids aged 8 and 3, it's just perfect for us. I even managed to erect it myself last weekend with my 8 year old helping (and 3 year old hindering!).
Hi, we actually got the side canopy from ebay, it had only been used once and we paid £50 with p&p, we've seen them online new for £65, not sure about p&p though.

we looked hi n low on the net and everywhere is sold out for front canopies and we found 1 side canopie but we need front so we can have a coverd walkway into the day tent
Personally for me, given the cost of the Tourer 400 and Monty 4 are not that far apart, it would come down to SIG and windows.
Nice as those Kyhams are, I would not want to be stuck in it, all locked down in the rain (Monty has big front windows), plus the greater comfort of the SIG on the Monty.
Also have a look at something like an Outwell Hartford M - same size bedroom space and large living area with SIG (although personally I would still just edge for the Monty).
