We had the same problem..in the end I just gave it to the local cadet force..for free I delivered would not ask 1p for it honestly...it put us off camping for a year.
I bought a gelert tahoma second hand for only £80, a friend said it was too large for only 2 persons, which could be true. The tent I wanted prior to the XP was this one!
Sorry could never ever look at this tent or sunncamp AGAIN!
