We've just bought a Gelert Lokon Vario 6 direct from Gelert at a bargain price. We should get it on Thursday. I'm so excited. I'm off to edit my profile now!

I went on the Gelert site but was unable to purchase on there it said my nearest retailer was Camperlands in Northenden Manchester so off I toddled to go and see what Gelert tents they had there were none out so I asked and the nice gentleman at Camperlands informed me that they only sell Gelert accesories not tents as they are crap well I am not well up on tents but we had borrowed a Gelert Vesuvius off a friend and really liked it and had gone there to buy one so as you might guess we walked out of the shop and they lost business for their lovely attitude
I don't know where they got the idea from the Gelerts are crap. I have a Nakina Plus - the small green tent currently pictured in my gallery. Although it only has an advertised hydrostaic head of 1500mm, it has been out in some horrendous weather and has never let in a single drop of water. Not only that, but as it only has a single pole that runs along the ridge from front to back, it takes me no more than five minutes to put up and peg out.
In fact, although I have a lighter and more expensive one-night tent for backpacking, more often than not I take the Gelert because of its ease of erection and room inside.
