hi all
I'm thinking about getting a Vango Synchro 300 as our festival tent. this one
What do you think? Am i wasting my time?
Also does anyone know how it is put up because it says that it can be erected in 20 seconds. (Am i gonna find myself tangled up in the thing)
Many thanks peeps

Hi sukilou, It looks fine, no idea about the tangling although I would consider it a little expensive as a festival tent! It depends on how much other use you might get out of it although there is always the risk of it getting wrecked at festivals. I know you pay for the 20 second pitch (?!) but personally a few more minutes wouldn't make too much difference to me. Have you also considered the Vango Gamma & Delta ranges? http://www.amg-outdoor.co.uk/vango/products/tentslection.asp?typename=2
i will take that on board thanks for your help
i wasn't gonna pay that price though cos they had a couple on ebay for about £50.
but after thinking about it, i have decided to stay with the one we've got. from morrisons a couple of years ago (if it ain't broke don't fix it).
cheers

the synchro tents ARE good bits of kit i have had a 200 for two years, 30 seconds pitch does NOT include pegging unless youve got anneka rice with you, but they are quick nevertheless, would not be without mine. TOWSURE instore prices less than web at the moment! Would be less than comfortable putting one up in a fest. environment though, they are attractive items, beware!!
